  Grits and Groceries is our happy place. Heidi and Joe Trull, chef and pastry chef, opened G & G a little over ten years ago. Coming from New Orleans, they bring a NOLA flare and mix in a Carolina flavor. Praline bacon and tomato pie are a must have when you go.
  Love the specials, this is where Heidi gets to show her 'stuff'. They use many local food sources, supporting local farmers and bringing the freshest ingredients to the menu. Joe is the pastry chef, making some of the best desserts ever. No one should consider dieting when visiting Grits and Groceries, dessert is a must. Fried apple pies with homemade cinnamon ice cream is calling your name!

  Best tomato pie on the planet. Their entire brunch menu was fantastic and very reasonably priced! I will be back for the lunch menu.

  The outside and inside looks like an old country store which has its own appeal. The service and the food was great. When we arrived there was a line but we only had to wait about 15 min to be seated (they have indoor and outdoor seating). We will definitely be returning. This isn't your typical restaurant it is so much better.
